Music vs Lyrics

Really there shoudn't be (vs) here 'cos both are sort of complement of each other.I've always had quite a penchant for lyrics, I'm a bit partial towards it but den I love good soft instrumentals too which creates an environ of peace,soothing....yeah.
I came upon dis dialogue by chance and it depicts d difference nicely.wanted to share it wid ya all.so here it goes:

"A melody is like seeing someone for the first time.The physical attraction.Sex.
But then,as you get to know the person, that's the lyrics.Their story.Who they are underneath.
Its the combination of the two that makes it magic."
